One of the biggest obstacles we face in life is our own inner motivation…er, or lack thereof. It is fear that confronts us when we think of the words EXERCISE and LOSE WEIGHT. This fear can take hold of you and me in many forms, all which lead to a loss of motivation to actually do it.
So how do you overcome that fear and regain all the lost motivation?
Let me start by saying that exercise is the best way to reach any weight loss goal and gain a healthier life. Unfortunately, you have a busy life which can lead to a lack of energy to complete the workouts. The repercussions of this are that you may gain weight, increase your stress levels, and put your health on the back burner.

Here are 3 tips that can help you do just that:
1) Put fitness on your mind
The first thing you need to do to find your motivation to exercise is to get fitness on your mind. Remind yourself about all the benefits of losing weight (how you will feel, what kind of life you will have, what you will wear, how healthy your body will become). Doing this will help you reignite your motivation for regular exercise. You will start to lose weight and get into shape.
2) Create a vision collage
Create a PHYSICAL vision collage. Get a piece of paper or poster board to use as the back then start taking, cutting, printing off pictures of exercises you want to complete or the types of food you want to eat. Place this collage where you will see it daily. Even if you do not get started right away, seeing it every day will help motivate you to get started.
3) Set small goals
Give yourself a fitness goal, nutrition goal, and happy living goal that you will complete daily. Write these down, cut out words to make the phrases or print it off the computer. However you decide to put your goals into print make sure you can hang it beside your vision collage.
